Mr. Bagus’s Testimony

Mr. Bagus (name changed for protection) is an elementary school teacher responsible for teaching Islamic Religious Education. On weekends, he works as a motorcycle ride-hailing driver to help provide for his family.

It was through this side job that he met an Unknown Nations indigenous missionary. The missionary had been intentionally building relationships with fellow ride-hailing drivers, creating opportunities for trust and deeper conversations about faith.

Wanting to learn more, Mr. Bagus received a Treasure and began listening in private.

As he returned to God’s Word again and again, he encountered the life, teachings, and redemptive message of Jesus Christ.

Over time, his understanding deepened, and his heart opened to the gospel. Eventually, Mr. Bagus made the life-changing decision to place his faith in Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior.

For the missionary who shared the Treasure with him, witnessing this transformation has been deeply encouraging. He’s been undergoing ongoing cancer treatments, but has remained steadfast in his commitment to share the gospel.

Even as he continues to navigate his own health challenges, he has a passion for ministry and sees firsthand how God can use a faithful witness, a genuine relationship, and a single audio Bible to impact lives for eternity.

Mr. Bagus’s story is a powerful reminder of what God can do through faithful Christ followers who build relationships and step through the doors He opens.

Through the power of God’s Word and the presence of indigenous missionaries, people are hearing the gospel message and responding to the hope of Christ.
