Worldwide, 2.1 billion people lack access to reliably safe drinking water.

Without access to clean water, preventable diseases spread, children suffer needlessly, and women and girls spend hours each day walking for water instead of attending school.

Drilling Wells and Breaking Gospel Barriers

At Unknown Nations, providing clean water is both a practical response and a gospel opportunity. We strategically drill wells in nations without gospel access across the 10/40 Window. From North Africa through the Middle East and into Asia, water often provides entry into difficult places. There, we serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, meeting physical thirst while offering the Word of God and a drink from the water that never runs dry.

Living Water for the Unreached

Each well is a visible expression of faith in action. Meeting a physical need softens hearts and creates space for relationships to form and trust to grow. As villages gather around a new source of safe water, they are introduced to the Living Water through the gospel. Indigenous leaders share the Good News, distribute Treasures, form listening groups, and disciple those who are hearing about Jesus for the first time.

Clean water protects children from disease, strengthens families, and establishes a natural gathering place at the center of community life. Through each well, lives are changed physically and spiritually as hearts open to receive the Good News.

Your support makes it possible to drill wells and share the gospel in places without access to Jesus.

From Witch Doctor to Witness

Nabado, a respected Hausa village chief and former witch doctor, spent his life relying on powerful incantations until he encountered a power far greater than anything he had known. Transformed by an undeniable encounter with Jesus Christ, Nabado surrendered his life to Christ, becoming a living testimony of how the Gospel can break spiritual strongholds and bring hope even to the most unreached communities.
