Testimony of Kiaan

Kiaan (name changed for protection) was born into a Hindu family. As a young boy, he had serious problems with socializing and focusing. As a result, his parents decided not to send him to school. He grew up in the house like an animal.

Without anyone caring for him, Kiaan wandered the streets and became friends with local dogs and cats. He seldom took baths or washed his clothes.

One day, our indigenous missionary was walking down the street and came across Kiaan. When Kiaan saw him, he approached the missionary asking for food.

Our Strategic Outpost Leader in India shared what happened next:

“He looked like a man possessed with demons described in the gospel. The missionary bought food for him, fed him, and prayed over him. As he prayed, demons left screaming. The missionary took him into his own home, cut his hair, washed him, and gave him nice clothes. This man’s transformation has now opened the door to preach the gospel.”

Kiaan is now completely delivered and free!

The missionary had gifted him a Treasure audio Bible, which became his only access to God’s Word since he could not read. Over the past month, Kiaan has come to know Jesus and is now passionately proclaiming the gospel throughout his region.

Because Kiaan had not previously been part of normal society, it took time for him to become acclimated to everyday life and social interaction. In total, this process took about 19 days. Yet from the second day onward, he was already eagerly sharing his testimony with others.

Discipleship continues as the missionary remains actively pouring into Kiaan’s life and walking with him as he grows in faith. Pray that Kiaan’s testimony would open hearts and lead many to salvation.
