Ramesh’s Testimony

For several years, Ramesh lived with painful stomach problems and swelling in his body. He searched for healing wherever he could find it. Despite visiting the hospital and seeking help from local witchdoctors, he found no relief.

Over time, the sickness wore him down. Ramesh became discouraged and felt fed up with his life.

While still searching for peace and healing, Ramesh met one of our Indigenous Missionaries. The missionary told him about Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who sees our suffering and has power to heal.

When the missionary asked if he could pray, Ramesh said yes. He called his family members to gather with him, and they listened as the missionary shared the hope of Jesus.

His family told the missionary, “If Ramesh is healed, we will follow Jesus.”

As the missionary prayed over Ramesh, he began to feel better. They continued praying, asking the Lord to bring complete healing to his body.

Praise God, Ramesh is now completely healed and attending church. Our Indigenous Leader shared that Ramesh is growing in his faith and enjoying his time with God.

This testimony is one of many ways God is moving in Nepal.

That same month, our Indigenous Leaders shared that nine people were baptized through the ministry. Some were young, others were in their 30s and 40s, and one couple was in their 80s.

The elderly couple was especially joyful and bold in their new faith. After their baptism, these new believers from a Buddhist background were eager to tell others their testimony. They have a newfound happiness because they know who they are in Christ.

Our leader shared, “I am so proud because of them. They have a bold commitment to the Lord.”

God is bringing healing, salvation, and new life to Nepal.
