2026 Spring Appeal Letter

The recent upheaval in Iran has been significant in many ways. What began as public cries over economic collapse quickly grew into open calls for regime change. The government eventually forced the protests into silence, shutting down the internet to prevent information from reaching the outside world, but the truth did not disappear. Cracks began to show in the façade, and the truth of what is happening inside Iran continues to emerge.

As this defining moment is unfolding, many of our indigenous missionaries (Iranians and Iranian diaspora) believe it is not a coincidence, but providence.

Believers on the ground are daring to hope and dream because God is clearly at work. For generations, Iran has been one of the most restricted and dangerous places on earth to follow Christ. Yet even in this darkness, Iran is home to one of the world’s fastest-growing underground churches.

If doors open, we must be ready. That is why Unknown Nations is acting.

EMPOWERING IRANIAN BELIEVERS

Right now, Unknown Nations is actively training and equipping indigenous Iranian leaders from the Persian diaspora. These men and women know the language, culture, and true cost of following Jesus. They are being prepared now so they can re-enter Iran if and when doors open, carrying the gospel back to their own people. Trainings for the Iranian diaspora are scheduled throughout the Middle East, and we are ready to go.

Yet this is not enough. We are mobilizing inside Iran.

Right now, thousands of believers in underground churches inside Iran are waiting to receive training and resources so Persians can know Jesus and be mobilized for the very first time! We have leaders ready to be trained and equipped to distribute 2,000 Treasures across Iran. Can you imagine 500 or even 750 new churches rising up inside Iran? Let’s go, Holy Spirit! Will you help?

This work is about empowering Iranian believers to shepherd their own people, discipling new believers, and rebuilding the Church from within.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Friend, it is critical that we are ready. However, the work does not end there. As we are equipped, our goal is to train Iranian believers inside Iran and in the Persian diaspora to become leaders, equipping them with 2,000 Treasures and training with a goal of 500-750 new churches. We need your help. The total need for this Iranian investment is $250,000. These funds will allow us to train leaders, provide essential resources, and ensure that when the moment comes, we, the Body of Christ, are ready.

In this critical hour, we are asking you to stand with us in three ways:

1. Will you pray for wisdom, protection, and boldness for these leaders preparing now at great personal risk?

2. Will you ask the Lord how He may be calling you to stand with the Iranian Church as history unfolds?

3. Will you come alongside us financially as we prepare for what God is doing in Iran?
