How Far Would You Walk to Get a Bible?

If you’re like me, there are usually multiple Bibles nearby. I could easily get out of my chair and go pick one up. I’ve never had to think about what I would do if accessing God’s word meant more than walking a few feet to find the version I wanted. Even if I couldn’t find a Bible, I could open up my Bible app, turn on the TV or YouTube and hear someone preaching the Gospel.

Our Director of Ministry in Bangladesh shared an exciting update with us last week - The Gospel has gone into a completely unreached area of the Hill Tracts, a portion of the country that borders Myanmar and India. With a population of over 163 million people in Bangladesh, it’s estimated that 99% have yet to hear the name of Jesus.
