God Came For The Broken, Dirty & Empty-Handed
One of our Indigenous Leaders in Pakistan sent us this beautiful testimony. He shared, “This is why we go to places no one else will. There are so many families living in darkness, convinced they are forgotten, believing lies about who they are and who God is.”
A Segeju Sister’s Faithfulness
We are praising God for this faithful testimony sent in by our Indigenous Leader serving in the Horn of Africa and surrounding nations. Through their network, Treasure audio Bibles were deployed among the Segeju in Tanzania. This nation is considered 99.97% Islam and only 0.03% Christian.
Water Access Opens the Door for Treasures
Recently, three water wells were drilled in the heart of Nigeria among three communities of Hausa People. In this nation, only .1% of the population is following Jesus. Nearly 100% of the Nigerian Hausa are still deeply bound by Islam, and most have never heard the powerful name of Jesus.
Fruitful Ministry in Indonesia
This past year, well over 2,000 audio Bibles were distributed across the many islands that make up the country of Indonesia. From the intentional distribution and follow up of these units, our leaders reported hundreds of listening groups and 112 indigenous churches planted in the 2024 calendar year!
Secret Jesus Followers Spreading the Gospel
In a sparsely lit room, just outside of the largest refugee camp in the world, crowded dozens of people. They squeezed into every space possible across multiple adjoining rooms to meet with us.
Nabado's Story
First, I recently returned home from Nigeria, a country that has been incredibly impacted by the efforts of cross-cultural missionaries. In 1900, less than 5% of this great country was Christian. Today, the southern half of Nigeria - more than 100 million people - follow Jesus! A celebration indeed! Yet, despite this success, there is still a monumental task required.
Encountering New Believers In Northern Nigeria
In the middle of Islamic insurgent groups and the largest Muslim population in the continent of Africa, nations are coming to know the truth—and the truth of Christ is setting them free. As a country, Nigeria ranks number six on Open Doors’ World Watch List for extreme levels of persecution against believers. And yet, here you’ll find Christians who are sold out for the gospel.
A Somali Encounter With CIISE
The Joshua Project reports Somalis to be the largest unreached people group in the Horn of Africa, with an overwhelming 99% identifying as Muslim and less than 1% as Evangelical Christians. The Somali people are known for their hardness towards the gospel, a people that are nearly impossible to reach.
A Dangerous Walk of Faith to Access God’s Word
Amina (name changed for protection) is a 56-year-old woman whose deepest desire was to study God’s Word and grow in her faith, but she couldn’t read. In her village, no one knew how to read. She prayed for months, asking God to make a way for her to understand the words of the Bible.
New Graduates Building the Kingdom
Just last month a group of graduates wrapped up their one year leadership training program in Indonesia. Our Indigenous Leader shared that these 20 students will be sent to their mission fields to share the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Ministry Continues Inside Unstable Refugee Camp
The Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh were already struggling with severe issues such as disease, malnutrition, and vulnerability to natural disasters. Now, they are facing the additional burden of escalating violence. The presence of armed factions and criminal gangs have made the camps even more unstable. These groups are often in conflict with one another, creating an environment of fear and oppression.
Heart Transformation Leads to Water Access
In an update from our Chadian Indigenous Leader, we were blessed to hear about the impact of Treasure audio Bibles in areas facing significant challenges. Amid growing water shortages, Christians, in particular, can often be overlooked in spiritually antagonistic areas. This was particularly relevant in a region of Chad, until a recent turn of events.
Birth of a Church Inside IDP Camp
Greetings from Myanmar. I hope you are doing well by the grace of God. Though we are passing through the most difficult time in our nation, because of the political and economic situation, our faithful God is at work among our people through His Word! We are just instruments for His Kingdom and righteousness.
Testimonies From A Closed Country
We received these testimonies from inside a closed country in Asia. God recently opened doors for our indigenous leaders to begin working in this area, and we’ve been so encouraged by the fruit coming from their ministry. They’ve asked us to refrain from mentioning this country’s name in any written communication. Preaching openly about Jesus is grounds for harsh punishment.
Overflowing Attendance Inside Refugee Camp
Inside the Rohingya refugee camp, our indigenous leader hand selected several Rohingya believers to distribute Treasure audio Bibles among their people. Fazal (name changed for protection), is one of those indigenous missionaries. He came to know Christ and was baptized in 2018, shortly after fleeing Myanmar with his family.
God Makes Himself Known to T & S
T and S are neighbors. After the Taliban seized control, the situation in their village rapidly worsened. Six months ago, T’s husband went to a bigger city to find work and never returned home. Her neighbor, S, is a widow. As women living under the Taliban’s control, they are not allowed to work or leave their homes. If they do, they could face severe punishment.
Rock Chapel
The Afar Nation, spanning across NE Ethiopia, is made up of 2,155,000 men, women, and children - over ninety-nine percent adhering strictly to the Islamic religion. Although a very beautiful people, they are known to be exceptionally resistant to the gospel. Mission initiatives through the decades have proven to be difficult, but God is stirring young hearts and preparing laborers for the harvest field. We believe that now is the time!
Salvation from Witchcraft
The Burmese Nation is the largest people group in Myanmar, over thirty-one million individuals. Buddhism overshadows the Burmese society so strongly that only one third of one percent of this people group are estimated to be following Jesus. Anyone who decides to follow Him is doing so at the risk of their very own life.
