I recently returned home from Bangladesh. It represents ground zero and the center of the bullseye for our vision at Unknown Nations. It is a country that is the same size as the state of Wisconsin. There are 6 million people who live in Wisconsin while 172 million live in Bangladesh, making it one of the most densely populated places on Earth!

The Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh were already struggling with severe issues such as disease, malnutrition, and vulnerability to natural disasters. Now, they are facing the additional burden of escalating violence. The presence of armed factions and criminal gangs have made the camps even more unstable. These groups are often in conflict with one another, creating an environment of fear and oppression.

Kenya (MNN) — Heavy rainfall continues to plague Kenya. The deluge is causing floods and landslides across 80 percent of the country.
